Nueces River and Corpus Christi Bays Area

The Expert Science Team will make its recommendations of how much water is necessary to ensure a sound ecological environment by March 1, 2012. The Stakeholder Committee will make comments on the Expert Science Team recommendations by September 1, 2012. Both groups are currently meeting regularly.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is to adopt environmental flow standards for the Nueces River/Corpus Christi & Baffin Bays Area by September 1, 2013. This will be a formal rule-making process and there will be an opportunity for public comment.
